1. Overview

At Kapsi Cloth Emporium, customer satisfaction is our priority. Every product undergoes strict quality checks before dispatch.

As our products include silk sarees, Banarasi sarees, Kanchipuram silks, Surat prints, Kolkata cottons, and other premium fabrics, we follow a strict and transparent return policy to ensure fairness to both the customer and the seller.


2. Eligibility for Return

We accept product returns only under the following conditions:

✅ The item received is defective, damaged, or wrong compared to your order.
✅ The issue must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
✅ The product must be unused, unwashed, unstitched, and in its original packaging with all tags intact.
✅ An unboxing video (from start to finish) is mandatory for any claim.

We do not accept returns for the following reasons:
❌ “Product not liked,” “Color looks different,” “Changed my mind,” or “Found cheaper elsewhere.”
❌ Minor color or fabric variations due to lighting, display, or handwoven nature.
❌ Products that have been altered, used, washed, or stitched after purchase.
❌ Cut pieces, hosiery, undergarments, towels, mats, or custom orders.


3. Non-Returnable Products

The following products are non-returnable and non-exchangeable due to hygiene and handling standards:

  • Hosiery and undergarments (men/women/children)
  • Turkish towels, bedsheets, and blankets
  • Umbrellas, mats, and custom-length fabrics
  • Saree cut pieces, stitched blouses, and tailored items

4. Process for Return

If your product meets the eligibility criteria, please follow these steps:

1️⃣ Email us at support@kapsicloth.com or WhatsApp us at +91 9164534599 within 48 hours of delivery.
2️⃣ Attach clear photos and unboxing video showing the defect or damage.
3️⃣ Once verified, our team will authorize the return and share pickup instructions.

Return pickup may take 7–10 working days from the approval date.


5. Inspection & Approval

After we receive your returned item, our Quality Check (QC) team will:

  • Inspect the item for physical damage, usage, stains, or missing tags.
  • Approve or reject the refund/exchange based on inspection.

If the claim is found invalid (e.g., item used, wrong video, or false claim), the item will be returned back to the customer at their cost.


6. Refund Timelines

If your return is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method (Credit/Debit Card, UPI, or Net Banking) within 7–10 business days of QC approval.
  • For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be made via bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS) once details are verified.

Refund timelines depend on your bank’s policies, not ours.


7. Replacement Policy

If a product is eligible for replacement (same product only), it will be shipped after we receive and verify the returned item.
If the same item is out of stock, a store credit or refund will be provided at our discretion.


8. Return Shipping Charges

  • In case of a defective or wrong product, return shipping will be borne by Kapsi Cloth Emporium.
  • In all other cases, return shipping will be paid by the customer.

9. Exchange Requests

Exchanges are accepted only for size or pattern mismatch (if applicable), provided the product is unused and reported within 48 hours of delivery.
Exchange is subject to stock availability and inspection approval.


10. Product Damage During Transit

All items are shipped in tamper-proof packaging.
If you receive a damaged parcel:

  • Do not accept the package if it appears tampered.
  • Take clear photos and contact us immediately.
  • We will raise a claim with the courier and assist in replacement or refund once verified.

Kapsi Cloth Emporium shall not be responsible for damages after the package has been accepted.


11. Cancellation Policy

  • Orders can be canceled within 12 hours of placement if not yet shipped.
  • Once shipped, cancellations are not possible.
  • If canceled before dispatch, refunds will be processed within 5–7 working days.

12. Responsibility & Limitation of Liability

  • Kapsi Cloth Emporium is not liable for delay, loss, or damage caused by courier partners.
  • We are not responsible for customer negligence, incorrect address, or unavailability during delivery.
  • Decision on refunds, replacements, or credits will be final and binding on the customer.

13. Fraudulent Claims

Any misuse of the return policy (false claims, fake videos, or repeated returns) will lead to:

  • Permanent ban from future purchases, and
  • Legal action under applicable Indian cyber and consumer laws.

14. Dispute Resolution

All disputes related to returns, refunds, or cancellations are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Belagavi District Courts, Karnataka, India.
